LASH LIFTING & TINTING
Be ready to say goodbye to your mascara and lash curler and shave some time off of your beauty routine.
This service enhances your natural eyelashes without the use of any leave-on chemicals or extensions. The natural lashes are boosted from the root, giving them a lifted, lengthened appearance. A lash lift is essentially a perm for your lashes that offers eye-popping results by creating a natural curl and lift to your lashes.
Lifted lashes last for the life cycle of your lash which is up to 8 weeks.
All of my lash lifts include a complimentary lash tint to give your lashes an even more dramatic look!

Duration: ~60-90 minutes
ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT
LASH LIFTING
WHAT IS LASH LIFTING?
Everyone has different lash lengths and growth direction. Some lashes grow down while others grow straight out. The lash lift process creates a natural eye-opening lash swoop that lasts for up to 8 weeks.
Lash lifting is a perming treatment to curl and lift your natural eyelashes. Your lashes are temporarily bonded to a soft, flexible silicone shield or rod in a highly organized manner. Next, the lifting solution is applied followed by the setting/neutralizing solution. The processing time depends on your lash density. Finally, based on persona preference, your lashes can be tinted to darken your them for a more enhanced look. The service is concluded with a deep conditioning treatment.

BENEFITS OF LASH LIFTING
Low Maintenance
A Lash Lift is a very low maintenance technique and it provides a significant beauty enhancement to the facial area. It accomplishes this by giving the illusion of eyelash length. This makes the eyes appear more open and results in a more awake and youthful appearance (it gives you the look you would see after using lash curl or better).
Ideal Alternative to Lash Extensions
The lash lifting treatment is much quicker and easier than lash extensions. It also creates a very natural look for clients who prefer a more subtle vibe.
Suitable for Short Lashes
Eyelash lifting is designed for (almost) every lash length and thickness and you can still get amazing lifted results from shorter lashes because I have different sized shields and rods that are used to maximise your results with no lash length discrimination (if you are aren’t sure, book a consultation with me to determine your lash suitability).
ALL Lash Lifting Products are:
Professional, high grade solutions
Formaldehyde-free
Advanced formulation containing nourishing and conditioning ingredients
Single-use sachets – hygienic – no wastage – fast processing
WHAT DOES THE PROCESS LOOK LIKE?
1.
After your lash consultation, the desired results are assessed and the appropriate shield or rod are chosen and fitted for your eye shape. Followed by this, the eye area is thoroughly cleansed to remove any residual makeup and oil.
2.
The properly custom fitted silicone curling shield or rod is placed with a gentle bonding adhesive on the eyelids bordering the lash line. The natural lashes are then curled over top of the rod and set with an adhesive. It’s important to note that your eyes will be closed throughout the session, which lasts around 60 minutes.
3.
Once the artist ensures that all lashes are combed up and separated precisely in place, a lifting lotion is applied to the lashes. The lifting lotion will then mold the lashes to the shape of the curling shield/rod. Following this, a setting/neutralizing lotion is applied which sets the lash shape into place. The next step is optional but no client ever turns down this step! While the lashes are still fixed to the shield/rod, a lash tint can be applied. Color choices range from light brown to black. Finally, a deep conditioning nourishing lotion is added to restore moisture back into the lashes.

TIPS & TRICKS
FOR MAKING YOUR LIFTED LASHES LAST LONGER
Tip # 1
~ Stick to the Provided After Care Instructions ~
Don’t Touch Your Lashes
Touching your lashes with your fingers can deposit oils from our skin onto the lashes. Pressing a towel or pillow against them or basically any kind of contact can physically alter the shape in the first 24 hours following the treatment. Try to avoid touching your lashes (use provided spoolie if needed).
Keep them Completely Dry for 24 Hours
While this is the most basic rule of the lash lifting after care, sometimes people don’t take it seriously, thinking, what possible damage could just plain old water? Well, it can do a lot of damage actually! The lash lift needs some time to fully set, so no washing the area, no swimming, no jacuzzis, ideally for 24 hours. If you’re taking a shower, be careful not to get any droplets on your lashes. Clean your face with damp cotton pads, avoiding the lashes
Sweating is also getting your lashes wet, so try to avoid that as much as possible. No exercise or other strenuous activities (if you can avoid them). Exposing yourself to heat and sunlight can make you sweat even if you’re not doing anything so try to avoid that if you have any control over it.
Avoid steam for 24 hours. Yes, exposure to steam also counts as getting your lashes wet. In fact, it’s worse! Steam is water in the form of gas … no hot showers and it’s best to avoid cooking. Okay, not all cooking activities produce steam, but if they produce any kind of heat that will cause you to sweat, skip it and just get takeout. But nothing too spicy! Again – sweat alert.
Avoid Sleeping on Your Lashes!
It is very important to sleep on your back (not your side of stomach) for the first 24 hours to allow the lash perm to fully set.
Tip # 2
~ Adjust Your Skincare and Makeup Routine ~
Use Gentle Skin and Beauty Products
In the days and weeks following your lash lift treatment, I recommend using only gentle, oil-free facial products. Avoid anything that might irritate your skin, eyes, etc. The less harsh chemicals that are used on your skin {those that could potentially interact with the lash perm} the better!
Avoid Mascara After Your Lash Lift
My favorite benefit to lash lift treatments is the effortless and natural look it gives you. Your lashes look so full, they don’t even need the added mascara. I typically recommend lash lifts as a way to skip eye makeup all together – but if you must, it’s best to wait at least 24 hours following your treatment. Even more:
-
Avoid waterproof mascara all together
-
Wait 48 hours to apply mascara or eye makeup
Keep in mind that with eye makeup, comes makeup remover. Just be cognizant of the products you’ll be using on your skin/eyes following the makeup application.
Apply a Serum or Lash Conditioner
After 48-72 hours after your lash lift treatment, apply an oil-free lash serum or conditioner to your lashes. A lash conditioner will help keep your lashes strong, soft, and healthy – making the lash curl last even longer. We must care for our lashes the same way we’d care for our hair!
Tip # 3
~ Additional Tips ~
Do NOT Rub Your Lashes
Don’t rub your eyes after your lash lift since your lashes are still setting. AVOID your eyelash curler like it‘s the plague (ok, that may be a slight exaggeration but really!). Lash curlers roughly clamp down on the lashes and can disturb their positioning as well as cause breakage.
Brush Your Lashes
When you wake in the morning, try brushing your lashes upward with a makeup free lash brush to help with their formation. This is typically done best when the lashes are wet (after washing your face or after a shower).
Wait 8 Weeks Between Lash Lifting Appointments
Last but not least! Wait at least 8 weeks in between lash lifting appointments to avoid over processing your lashes. A lash lift will begin to naturally drop after about 2 months and your lashes will be back to their natural look. The lashes should drop evenly and will not look out of place. You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of two months if you feel you need to, or you can wait until they are back to their natural state.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
There’s really no prep but do arrive without any eyelash extensions and NO eye-makeup (especially waterproof mascara!) A squeaky clean foundation will lead to optimal and longer lasting results.
Typically, results last up to 8 weeks depending on your natural lash cycle. As the ‘lifted’ hairs begin to naturally shed, new straight hairs will be growing in. It is recommended to come every 8 weeks for a new lash lift but some may want to come in later, depending on their lash cycle.
Contact lenses MUST be removed prior to your lash lift. Feel free to bring a lens case and remove them when you arrive at your appointment.
The appointment will take approximately 60 minutes. Enjoy your nap 🙂
No, it’s not. As the ‘lifted’ hairs begin to naturally shed, new straight hairs will be growing in just like they did prior to your lash lift.
For a minimum of 24 hours (48 hours for better, longer lasting results) after your treatment, you MUST avoid:
- Eye-makeup
- Eye creams
- Swimming, steam rooms/saunas
- Strenuous exercise that causes heavy sweating
- Washing your face in a direct stream of water
- Eye-rubbing to avoid disforming the hairs
- Avoid sleeping on your lashes/brows
Yes, but please wait 48 to 72 hours after the treatment and only use oil-free products.
Lash lifts are generally safe for most people. I am a certified, licensed, and insured professional and you are in safe and gentle hands.
Allergic reactions are extremely rare. If an allergic reaction happens it can show immediately or after a few days following the tint. If you are concerned or a highly allergic individual a patch test may be arranged upon request.
No. However it is strongly recommended to use a lash serum that contains keratin and biotin to condition your lashes.
The treatment effects will last as long as your natural hair growth-cycle. As your hairs naturally shed, they will grow back just as they were before the procedure.
No, not at all! As a matter of fact, most of my clients take a nap while I do their treatment. It is important that your eyes stay closed throughout the treatment. Also, you will be lying down flat on your back the entire duration of the treatment (about 1 hour) but there is no pain involved at all. I provide a very comfortable bed, blanket, and bolster for lower back pain relief.
- Pregnant or nursing individuals are NOT recommended to undergo this treatment. Reasons include:
- You want to AVOID putting any chemicals on or in your body that may be absorbed into the bloodstream
- The perm solution alters the ph levels (although only on the hairs but I’d rather be on the safe side)
- Pregnancy hormones cause higher levels of sensitivity and there is a greater chance of getting an adverse reaction from the solutions
- Due to altered hormone levels, there is greater chance of getting inconsistent results
- This treatment can NOT be done on broken skin or open wounds on/around the area (permanent make up eyebrows should be healed at least 12 weeks before getting a brow lamination treatment)
- It is NOT recommended for those under 18 years of age
- Unless you are allergic to any of the ingredients in hair perm or hair dye (I recommend to do a patch test prior if you are concerned about an allergic reaction), these treatments work for pretty much anyone.
The complimentary eyelash tint that is included with your lash lifting treatment stays on the lashes between 2-3 weeks. Lashes can be returned if desired for an additional cost once tint has washed off.
