Microneedling for
Hair Re-Growth
ARE YOU STRUGGLING FROM HAIR LOSS?
With the help of microneedling for the scalp, we can penetrate just into the upper portion of the dermis — the layer of skin where the hair follicle lies.
The stimulating effects of the puncturing with tiny needles helps to stimulate blood flow and collagen production, but more significantly, it creates “microchannels” that enable topical treatments for hair loss to be more effective, as it helps the absorption of topical treatments to be better absorbed because they’re not being blocked by the skin. It actually gets into the level of the hair follicle and can make it start thickening up the existing hair, putting it into an active growth phase, making it stronger, getting it longer, and making it a little bit darker in color (although, the color change is extremely subtle, if detectable at all — you won’t arrive as a blonde and leave as a brunette).
THERE ARE 2 STAGES OF THIS TREATMENT
Stimulation Stage – treatments once every 2 weeks for 5-10 sessions
Maintenance Stage – treatments once every 4-6 weeks until desired results
Price: $125 per treatment
Duration: 75 minutes
~ Hair growth serum for home care is included in the treatment price ~

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I gather information from my clients such as skin type, skin condition, depth of wrinkles, visibility of dark circles, scars, and hyperpigmentation. This information is entered in the revolutionary PhiBright app, which creates precise, custom serums that are based on each client’s individual needs.
PhiBright serums contain a special complex called Brightenyl, which restores a perfect and even skin tone by blocking the melanogenesis process at several levels, therefore controlling the darkening of the skin and reducing pigmented spots. It also works to protects the skin and creates a soothing effect to help reduce redness.
The active complex of African birch extract (Anogeissus leiocarpa), in addition to its antioxidant effect, helps vitamin C to reach fibroblasts – the site of collagen synthesis.
By combining the application of this serum with the microneedling technique, it accomplishes exactly what the skin needs most: deep nourishment and long-term stimulation of natural regenerative abilities!
After the procedure, your skin will be red and flushed in appearance, looking similar to a mild to moderate sunburn. You may also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to the touch on the area being treated. This will diminish greatly after a few hours following the treatment and within the next 24 hours, your skin will be completely healed. Smoother and more radiant looking skin will be visible within 1 – 2 weeks following the treatment.
No, you will not feel any pain or discomfort! I will apply a topical numbing agent prior to the procedure to minimize and eliminate any pain or discomfort associated with the microneedling treatment.
The number of treatments depends on your skin condition. Microneedling treatments are done in a series. There will be visible results after each treatment, however, epidermal cell renewal takes about 28 days, therefore, we can expect the ultimate treatment results after that period. A minimum of 3 treatments is recommended with 2 to 3 weeks between each treatment.
- For moderate acne as well as acne scars, on average, 3 – 4 sessions will be needed
- Wrinkle treatments and treatments for enlarged pores, differ based on wrinkle depth and pore size and typically require 2-3 refresher treatments per year
- Stretch marks may need up to 5 sessions
- Hair re-growth sessions need to be assessed on an individual basis
During your first visit, I will assess the number of treatments that will work best for your skin and provide you the desired result.
Treatment results last for approximately 6 months. With the use of adequate home care, the results can last even longer.
We cannot stop the natural aging process, but we can significantly slow it down and visually improve the appearance of your skin. With your help by following the recommended home care regimen, we can continue to maintain the achieved results.
While collagen is most well-known as the protein that helps keep your face firm and young-looking, it’s also essential for hair health. In fact, both collagen and hair follicles exist within the same layer of the skin — the dermis — and when collagen production slows down (around the age of 30), this can affect the strength of your hair follicles. This leaves hair follicles unsupported, leading to more hair loss and less new growth.
Microneedling the scalp area brings blood flow and nutrients to the scalp and induces new stem cells that support hair growth. With this in mind, microneedling is a safe and a promising tool in hair stimulation and also is useful to treat hair loss.
